The Newport Community Gardens are a network of vegetable gardens all built around the same time, each aimed at eliminating food insecurity in Newport. Sidestreams supplies plants, seeds, and resources for these additional gardens in the network.
St. Paul’s Community Garden
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Community Garden is both a pantry and community garden. They donate fresh produce weekly to their food pantry and allow parishioners and community members to “own their own” plot to raise vegetables.

Spirit Growers Community Garden
We help the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with their Spirit Growers Community Garden by providing plants, seeds, soil and volunteers. This pantry garden donates all their produce to food pantry run in partnership with the First Baptist Church of Newport.
