Sidestreams Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c ) (3) nonprofit with the mission of building gardens and creating locally grown fresh food projects alongside people living in food desert communities.

The organization has been working in Madisonville since 2011 reusing vacant urban land, creating urban farms, building group and individual gardens, and sponsoring educational programs. In addition to Madisonville, we partnered with the Newport Community Gardens for three years and entered a partnership in 2017 to develop an aquaponics system at with Cincinnati State Community and Technical College.

We support an elective class at Lighthouse Community School that teaches students how to grow their own food and raise chickens.
